Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

August 23, 2007

Here’s some new info and new screenshots for the upcoming Lego Star Wars game. This game is actually shaping up and looking pretty good, I had my doubts at first but after looking at the screenshots, it looks awesome.

This game has a Fall of 2007, release date and is set to debut for the following systems: Wii, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Traveller’s Tales is also creating an entirely new Nintendo DS version.

Features:

  • Families can commemorate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars by playing through the events of all six Star Wars movies in one videogame for the first time ever.
  • Solve puzzles that encourage creative thinking through the use of teamwork and unique building situations only possible in a LEGO galaxy far, far away.
  • Adds new levels, new characters and new features to the fun, creativity and tongue-in-cheek humor that made LEGO® Star Wars™: The Video Game and LEGO® Star Wars™ II: The Original Trilogy such huge hits.
New levels, such as Episode II’s never-before-played high-speed pursuit of bounty hunter Zam Wessell, further complete the entire Star Wars story.
  • New playable characters like Watto, Zam Wessell, Boss Nass and more bring the total count to over 160. The upgraded Character Customizer includes all Prequel Trilogy characters for the first time, while also expanding its customization options well beyond those in LEGO Star Wars II, for millions more possibilities. Create cross-Trilogy mash-up characters like Han Windu and Lando Amidala.
  • New game features include enhanced Force powers, new power-ups, and a new Challenge Mode.
Levels from the original LEGO Star Wars are revamped to meet the gameplay evolutions of LEGO Star Wars II.

    Star Wars Theme Park?…

    August 18, 2007

Wouldn’t this be the best thing since sliced bread. Imagine going for a thrill ride on the Death Star.. that would be totally awesome!!

“Does Disney Have Plans for a George Lucas Land Theme Park?

Product Reviews UK - Disney is set to rename the Disney-MGM Theme Park in Orlando to Disney’s Hollywood Studio. The park won’t just be renamed, but restructured into different lands. There are plans to increase George Lucas’ presence in Disney’s Hollywood Studios into an entire George Lucas Land that will stretch from the Indiana Jones Outpost to the Tatooine Traders.

Star Tours 2.0 will be in the heart of the revisited area, complete with a brand-new 3D ride film. There have been rumoured that a few scenes from the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular will be replaced with new stunt sequences from the upcoming Indiana Jones 4.

Reports from the OrlandoSentinel have said that the park will be adding a permanent new stage for the Star Wars Jedi Training Academy, which has been a popular seasonal feature of the Star Wars Weekends. The new Jedi Stage will cover a large patio area outside the attractions and will contain a tech booth and a permanent backdrop.

The show starts this autumn with up to 8 shows a day. This news will officially be announced in 2008 with plans to go live in 2009, which will be the 20th anniversary of the theme park.”

    The Emporer Gets a Job…

    August 16, 2007

This is pretty good. Set after, “Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi”, after the second Death Star is destroyed, we see Darth Sidious is currently unemployed. I get a kick out when he tries to land the plane… “and now young pilot…. you .. will die”.
