Uh oh.. bad news for PC gamers…

According to TheForce.net it looks like PC gamers are in for a heavy duty major disappointment concerning a PC release of The Force Unleashed. This really blows for me as well because the PC is pretty well the only console I stick to… if I have to buy a PS3 or a xBox 360 just to play this game, i’m not going to be a happy camper!
“A few sites have been reporting that The Force Unleashed will be coming to a PC near you in 2008 along with it’s version on next generation consoles, the PSP and NGage. This was due to UK site HMV.co.uk displaying it for pre-order. Well, we put our detective hats on (which really just look like those tin foil hats to keep the aliens from reading our minds) and decided to get to the bottom of it. According to our source at LucasArts, they are not sure why HMV.co.uk is displaying this pre-order for a PC version as “it definitely will not be coming to PC.”

biggest disappointment in the life of a game player and star wars fan. those SOB’s don’t realize that the pc community made them what they are today… and what do they do? they slap and spit us right in the face. i won’t buy another star wars game in my life …..
I agree no more Star Wars games for me either. If it hadnt been for the PC Market, Lucasarts wouldnt have a gaming division, much less a popular one. If it wasnt for games like Xwing, Tie Fighter, etc etc Force Unleashed wouldnt even exist, now theyre telling us to go screw ourselves.
I echo the sentiment of all the hardcore PC gamers. I bought my 1st PC (Packard Bell 486 33) to play REBEL ASSAULT back in 90 or 91. I have bought upgrades to keep up with Rebal assault 2, Tie Fighter, XVT, etc, etc.
I resent the fact that they wouldn’t/couldn’t code Force Unleashed for us PC gamers. We kept the franchise alive.
Protest and petition. I’m sure George will hear us.
