The Force Unleashed Release Date?…

Ah.. the big question.. when is The Force Unleashed going to be released? Do you know? No. Do I know? No. Does LucasArts know? I don’t know that either.. I have been asked this question quite a few times in the last month, and quite honestly I don’t think anybody knows yet.
What I do know is, that there are many, many site out there with a different release date. Which one is right? Again, I don’t think anyone knows. These dates I would say are just guestimates these sites use so they can throw out their pre-orders, which is a good idea, because you can secure your game, no matter when the release date is.
For this post, i’ve compiled a list of all the sites I could find with a different release date. Originally the game was set to debut in November of last year. This obviously got pushed back to an, “Early spring release”, after a few months went by, I do believe the rumor was that it would be released in April 14, 2008. Again this date got pushed back. In fact, now LucasArts has said that, The Force Unleashed was going to be released in the Summer. I will obviously post the exact date when LucasArts releases it. For now, here is a list of all the pre-order site release dates as well as gaming site dates.

The way I see it (i’m trying to look positive) is, would you rather it come out now and be kinda crappy, or would you rather wait a little longer and have it totally amazing?

Yah the ways its listed it looks like a google ad so I ignored it.
On gamestop.com keyword search Force Unleashed it tells you sept. 1, 2008
There is no official release date according to lucas and their website. I heard middle april recently but ive also been hearing middle to end of july. Damn lucas i booked my reservation of this game in august of last year and am dying for it to come out. When i booked it then the release date was feb. 1st
i think that it stinks that the game is not out yet. i have been watching vidoes on it and looking on websits to see when it will come out. can they just tell us so we dont have to keep worrying when this game will come out.
i called gamestop andn they said September 2, 08. i dont want the game to come out that late because we have already waited long enough.
