Fans await return of The Exorcist…

George LucasCnn.com has posted an article and interview with George Lucas concerning the approaching, “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” a pc-animated movie due in theaters August 15. It will likely be then a Tv show of the identical title, to air around the Cartoon Network and TNT this fall. George Lucas provides a quick glimse into what fans can get out of this and what to anticipate later on! Looks amazing!

“”You’ve got the entire set up line built, and you say, ‘Hey, we are able to constitute something,”‘ Lucas stated within an interview. “It was like old-time movie making. Things I love about television, it’s like Monogram Pictures or even the old studio system, in which a couple men arrived at work plus they sit and also have some coffee and go, ‘Why don’t we create a movie about such and the like? OK, fine.’ And also at the finish during the day, it’s virtually coming.”

Occur time between episodes II and III — “Attack from the Clones” and “Revenge from the Sith” — from the large-screen “Star Wars” chronicle, the film and series present fresh adventures of Jedi warrior Anakin Skywalker, his mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with other co-workers.

The film introduces a lady Jedi, Ahsoki, who’s Anakin’s youthful apprentice.

“It’s like ‘Band of Siblings’ wide, with Jedi,” Lucas, 63, stated. “You will easily notice plenty of tales. They are availableup all the time.”

Lucas said he plans to produce at least 100 hours worth of TV episodes of “Clone Wars.”

He also is moving forward with a live-action “Star Wars” TV show focusing largely on new characters removed from the Skywalker family. That show will be set in the decades between “Revenge of the Sith” and the period when the original film, 1977’s “Star Wars,” takes place.

So can fans ever get enough of “Star Wars”?

“I don’t know,” Lucas said. “I’m thankful every year that it keeps going.”

The Pressure Unleashed Wii Review…

Wii ReviewAustrailianGamer.com has posted a cool Wii review of The Force Unleashed. They talk mostly about the control of the Wii remote with The Force Unleashed and the multiplayer aspect of the game, which from this review, sounds absolutely badass!! I wish I could get my hands on a copy of the game to preview… I wonder how you’d go about getting something like that.

I can’t wait to try out The Force Unleashed on the Wii.. it’s going to be amazing. Since I first heard that they were releasing a new game, I was stoked and praying that it would come for that console. I really wanted it to come out for the PC as well but It looks like that’s not going to take place… it’s possible to always hope though.

Take a look at some excerps in the interview:

“Ever since all of us realized the abilities of Nintendo’s latest console and controller, there’s been the continual thought at the rear of every true nerds mind – when will we reach play game which will allow me to make use of the wiimote just like a lightsaber?

Let’s understand this taken care of quickly the softball bat here – this isn’t that game. Actually, after hearing WHY this isn’t that game, I doubt there’ll Be that type of game. As the concept is effective during my mind, used the idea doesn’t translate as well to some gaming experience. What goes on whenever your lightsaber connects on the watch’s screen however your swinging motion keeps going? How frustratingly difficult would deflecting be? Technical restrictions aside (even though they exist too), I love my The Exorcist games to become fun, and the thought of a lightsaber simulation game doesn’t seem as appealing after i really consider the sensible logistics behind it.

The very first taste I acquired of the overall game was really a mode only at the Wii and PSP versions of the overall game – Fight Mode. There hasn’t been a The Exorcist fighting game since The Exorcist: Masters of Teräs Käsi around the Ps (a game title that we loved and thought was highly underrated), and so i was stoaked concerning the inclusion. There appears to become a good choice around 8 levels approximately, the main one we chose was at what appeared as if a Star Destroyer hanger.

It had been here’ reached grips using the unique Wii controls. The wiimote motions control your swing of the lightsaber – horizontal movement constitutes a horizontal swing, vertical movement create a vertical slash, and thrusting the wiimote forward can make your onscreen character do likewise. Even though it required a little of calibration to obtain the stabbing motion lower, the relaxation from it felt great, together with your actions symbolized on screen almost immediately.

The nunchuck controls your pressure forces, which is in which the real fun a part of the overall game is. Swinging the nunchuck does a typical Pressure push, while holding C will shoot bolts of lightning from your hands. When an object (or character) is highlighted, you can press Z and pick them up, then use the joystick to move them around. From this position you can either hammer the nunchuck down to slam the object into the ground, or let go of Z to send it flying off in whatever direction you were moving it in. “

Best situation mod ever…

R2D2 Case ModThis is the coolest case mod for a computer I have ever seen! I would actually buy this in a store, easily. I want one! A Darth Vader case mode or Death Star would be pretty damn cool as well.

“The original R2-D2 chassis was specially created by Australian firm Petric Engineering and was precision made to a high standard with small tolerances. R2-D2 was played by Kenny Baker in five of the six Star Wars films, (though credited with appearing in Revenge of the Sith, he never shot any moments) with lots of moments shot using mechanical and computer-produced imagery (CGI) versions from the character”

Stormtrooper Samurai Armor…

Stormtrooper Samurai ArmorLast year I published an entry with a few awesome ass Darth Vader Samurai Armor… to accompany your kickass costume for Halloween you are able to send your friend, girlfriend or whatever out as the partner with this particular amazing Stormtrooper Samurai Armor, or only use it to supplement your The Exorcist collection. Although there’s no cost listing about this, i’m sure it runs identical to the Vader suit that is a not too pretty 5200$. Which means you better intend on winning a lot of Halloween contests to cover this…

“If The Exorcist happened in Japan and Jedis were ninjas, this is exactly what Stormtroopers would search them lower in throughout the truly amazing Jedi Purge. They’re clearly wiser compared to average clone, too, given that they’re too dumb and clumsy to wield katana. Produced by artist Yoshi Isao as well as on display at Gift Show 2008 in Tokyo, japan, Giz Japan”
