The Force Unleashed Demo: Finally Released!!…

Well my Forceunleashians, today is the big day! The Force Unleashed Demo is now out! You can grab it throught the XBOX marketplace and the PS3 marketplace. There is an overwhelming response from it, more than I expeceted to be honest. All the reviews i’ve heard so far indicate that it is totally amazing!!

A little trick one of my forums members made:

“the ones that don’t have a gold membership, make a new account and you will recive for free a month of gold membership and you can download the demo. i’ve descover this now and i’ve played the demo it’s awesome. the limit for accounts per console it’s 3. who allready had 3 accounts, sry for them. if you have one or two accounts make a new account and download the demo”

Just in case some people didn’t know that.

From Team XBOX:

LucasArts has released a playable demo of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. An entirely new chapter in the Star Wars Saga, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed casts players as Darth Vader’s “Secret Apprentice” and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The game’s expansive story is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist Vader in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi – and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny.

The demo (905 MB) gives players a taste of one of the early levels in the game: the TIE Fighter Construction Facility, under siege by a Jedi general named Rahm Kota. Also included in the demo is a tutorial intended to teach players how to use their Force Grip power.

For all you folks who can’t get your hands on the demo yet or don’t have the right account to download it, check out some actual gameplay of the demo. This gameplay was done by a fan by the looks of it, it starts off from when you first start the demo!

More gameplay, courtesy of our forum moderator Grand Moff Dave, thanks man!

I think it was okay the only thing that I knew was wrong but got to distress about while playing is the saber combat its not rlly realistic and promising as u would want it to be. its more devil may cryish which is not good. but overall it was ok. but the level didnt interest me in any way besides the windows that were breakable, thus sucking inanimate and animate objects out for a mere 5 seconds to their doom.

The demo should be on PSN now, from what I’ve heard, so you know. I don’t have a PS3, but I do have the XBL demo. Downloaded it at 8:00 am, and I have played it nearly ALL DAY. It’s STILL not boring. I’m TRULY astounded, can’t WAIT for September 16th.

Wow, really sucks that it’s only released on Xbox & PSN. Would love to see these demos released on all platforms at the same time. There’s still a huge market for PC and none of the consoles stand up to the performance of a tricked out PC

The demo could be longer but I love the demo and i can’t wait the game. I have played the demo through like ten times now and it isn’t boring :)

Does anyone know how to throw your lightsaber like a boomerang?

i have played both versions of the game and the better version is the 360. Only for two reasons though. The first being i hate the ps 3 contoller and like th 360 one and secondly the graphics on the ps3 demo only go to 720p while the 360 pumps 1080 p graphics.

I found out some thing in the demo. When you’re at the end of the demo don’t kill the giant robot, kill yourself and go as far as you can get back in the demo and then come back and there comes more enemies every time you do that. So you can play as much as you want and the enemies wont end. And BagelBoylll you can throw lighsaber in the game but not in the demo.

bagelboylll in the full game you can actually do it better but if you want to…kinda-sorta throw you light saber pick a object press [](or the saber attack button on xbox) then throw the object. Your saber will get lodged in the object then come back to you ;-)

oh, thanks Keke i was just wondering. That will be fun to do during the real game, throwing your lightsaber.
