Star Wars: Force Unleashed 2 Looks “Phenomenal”

We haven’t heard much from the Star Wars: Force Unleashed 2 camp since December when LucasArts revealed the teaser trailer that made you want to dust off the light-saber and own an epic rancor. Now we have another update, a little behind the scenes assurance to keep us looking forward to the title.

CEO of LucasArts, Darrell Rodriguez, spoke with MCV about the game’s development progress:

“The progress that our internal team has made from The Force Unleashed to its DLC, then to the Sith Edition which packaged it into one disc, and now The Force Unleashed 2 – well, it’s phenomenal. It looks great and plays well.”

Rodriguez also recapped the success of the first Star Wars: Force Unleashed, stating the title sold over seven million copies and that he’s optimistic the fan base will come back for the next installment.

I will say that I am part of that fan base, and that I am eager to delve into the sequel. The teaser trailer made me break out the disc and use the Force again, but I could definitely use some new environments, storyline and mechanics.
