Re: Wii Rogue Jedi (first boss)
Boss: Rogue Jedi
The first boss of the game is a relatively easy one designed to introduce you to the mechanics of lightsaber vs. lightsaber. I doubt you’ll even break a sweat destroying him. When he is close in proximity to you stick with standard side to side saber slices as the vertical ones take longer and miss more often. If he pushes you away with the Force or runs grab him and toss your saber at him a few times. In between all this you might get stuck in either a Force lock or saber lock. Break the locks by matching the controller directions on screen to either slam him into the ground a few times with the Force for massive damage or parry his saber away for a direct hit with yours.
Once his life hits about half way a small cutscene will play showing that his Force attacks have stepped up but don’t worry any. Stick to the same set of attacks; horizontal slices when close and saber throws when far away. You can also choke him but it fails to connect often. After his life hits about a quarter left an action scene will play. Match the correct movements with either the Wiimote or Nunchuck and Vader will disarm the Jedi and finish the fight in a fitting over the top dark side manner.
Watch the cutscene closely as it sets up the story for the rest of the game. Vader picks up the fallen Jedi angrily demanding to know where his Master is because he senses a stronger presence in the Force. The Jedi informs Vader that his master is long since dead and as Vader is about to deliver the final blow with his lightsaber the weapon is pulled from his hand by a child. Vader realizes this boy is the Jedi’s son and as the Rogue Jedi yells for him to run he crushes the boy’s father to death. As the 501st shows up Vader decides to take this boy with him; slaughtering the clone troopers in the process as to leave nobody but Vader knowing of this powerful child.

Re: Wii Rogue Jedi (first boss)
yes..
thank you for posting the walkthrough.. i already read that..
my question is similar to the one asked above about the specific mechanics/way to move the nunchuk/Wii remote in order to finish the encounter..
any pointers/tips?
the person above said to thrust the controllers forward.. i have.. it still gets stuck when i get the lightsaber from the rogue jedi and restarts the encounter....
help?

Re: Wii Rogue Jedi (first boss)
I get exactly the same thing doesnt seem to matter how many times Vader slams the Rogue Jedi into the Ground he gets his health back and the sequence starts again???
I have read that there are 6 moves that need to be completed before the Rogue Jedi will die???? Any info would be appreciated as am getting very frustrated!!!

Hmm...I dunno guys...I have the Wii version and didn't have any problems. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you are not moving the opposite controller when shaking. I found if I move the opposite one it was calling for, even a little wave, it would do the same thing you are describing. You also have to make sure you do it quick enough. Dunno if that will help or not but I dont know what else to suggest.

Re: Wii Rogue Jedi (first boss)
Hi mates,
I only registered to answer here because i had the same problem with you. It took me two days of frustration to get over the first boss. The only thing you need to do is get your eyes stuck on the monitor to watch which remote it indicates to ONLY MOVE when it needs. So when it get to the sequence to finish the guy move the corresponding remote twice up and down and then stop to move. It will indicate again after a few seconds to swing again the remore either the same you initially used or the other one and swing it again a couple of times. After that it will indicate the same again. Do the same movement with the corresponding remote and Vader will take the lightsaber from the Jedi. Another indication will shown up immediately. Swing again and then Vader will finish him with the force.
Only remember to swing your remotes and don't push any buttons. Even if it doesn't work from the first time like that, because the Jedi will rejuvenate fast from this sequence, try again and again. I promise it works... just show patience.
