Fans await return of The Exorcist…

George LucasCnn.com has posted an article and interview with George Lucas concerning the approaching, “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” a pc-animated movie due in theaters August 15. It will likely be then a Tv show of the identical title, to air around the Cartoon Network and TNT this fall. George Lucas provides a quick glimse into what fans can get out of this and what to anticipate later on! Looks amazing!

“”You’ve got the entire set up line built, and you say, ‘Hey, we are able to constitute something,”‘ Lucas stated within an interview. “It was like old-time movie making. Things I love about television, it’s like Monogram Pictures or even the old studio system, in which a couple men arrived at work plus they sit and also have some coffee and go, ‘Why don’t we create a movie about such and the like? OK, fine.’ And also at the finish during the day, it’s virtually coming.”

Occur time between episodes II and III — “Attack from the Clones” and “Revenge from the Sith” — from the large-screen “Star Wars” chronicle, the film and series present fresh adventures of Jedi warrior Anakin Skywalker, his mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with other co-workers.

The film introduces a lady Jedi, Ahsoki, who’s Anakin’s youthful apprentice.

“It’s like ‘Band of Siblings’ wide, with Jedi,” Lucas, 63, stated. “You will easily notice plenty of tales. They are availableup all the time.”

Lucas said he plans to produce at least 100 hours worth of TV episodes of “Clone Wars.”

He also is moving forward with a live-action “Star Wars” TV show focusing largely on new characters removed from the Skywalker family. That show will be set in the decades between “Revenge of the Sith” and the period when the original film, 1977’s “Star Wars,” takes place.

So can fans ever get enough of “Star Wars”?

“I don’t know,” Lucas said. “I’m thankful every year that it keeps going.”
